1. Agreement
By engaging Oaklands Treecare & Landscapes for any work, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by Oaklands Treecare & Landscapes, including landscaping, tree surgery, patio installation, fencing, driveways, turfing, and retaining walls.
2. Quotations
All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotations are based on the information provided during the site assessment. Additional work discovered during the project may require a revised quote, which will be agreed before proceeding.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms are agreed on a per-project basis. For larger projects, staged payments may be required. Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of all agreed work. We accept bank transfer and cash payments.
4. Workmanship Guarantee
We provide a workmanship guarantee on all completed projects. The guarantee period varies by service type and will be confirmed in your written quotation. This guarantee covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by third parties, extreme weather events, or failure to follow aftercare advice.
5. Insurance
We carry £5 million public liability insurance covering all work carried out by our team. Proof of insurance is available on request.
6. Access & Site Conditions
The client is responsible for ensuring adequate access to the work area. Any pre-existing damage, underground services, or hazards must be disclosed before work begins. We take reasonable care to protect your property but cannot be held responsible for damage to concealed services not disclosed prior to commencement.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel your booking with at least 48 hours' notice before the scheduled start date without charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a charge to cover materials already purchased or time reserved.
8. Weather Delays
Outdoor work is subject to weather conditions. We will communicate any delays promptly and reschedule at the earliest opportunity. Weather delays do not constitute a breach of these terms.
9. Complaints
If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of our work, please contact us within 14 days of project completion. We will inspect the work and resolve any legitimate issues at no additional cost.
